Job Title: Front of House (FOH) Manager
Location: Touring with The Paramour Cabaret
Start Date: Late February 2025
Job Overview: The Paramour Cabaret is seeking an experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to oversee and manage all front-of-house operations during our performances. This role requires a leader who can manage F&B stock, hire and train FOH staff, and ensure efficient and compliant operations. The FOH Manager will also be responsible for VIP guest experiences and upholding liquor license regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management: Order and maintain an inventory of all food and beverage (F&B) supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are available for each performance.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise casual FOH staff, including bar staff, VIP lounge staff, and box office staff. Provide clear roles and responsibilities and ensure staff are prepared to deliver exceptional service.
- Setup and Breakdown: Oversee the setup and pack down of all bar and kitchen equipment before and after each performance, ensuring the area is prepared and cleaned efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Manage garbage removal and maintain cleanliness and safety in FOH and kitchen areas.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulations, signage, and operations related to the liquor license, maintaining compliance with local laws and safety standards.
- Guest Experience: Check the nightly guest list for any special seating or access requirements and ensure all necessary accommodations are made.
- VIP Lounge Preparation: Ensure the VIP lounge is set up according to specified standards and is ready before doors open to guests.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination between FOH operations and the overall performance schedule.
- Customer Service: Address any customer inquiries or issues in a professional and timely manner during events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a FOH Manager, Event Manager, or similar role in live events or the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in stock ordering and inventory management.
- Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and the ability to ensure compliance.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and composed demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service focus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in touring shows, festivals, or similar high-energy event settings.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food and beverage service.
- Experience in seating arrangements and guest accommodation practices.
Compensation: $1200.00/ week
