Job Overview: The Paramour Cabaret is seeking a creative and driven Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our promotional efforts and expand our audience reach. The successful candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies, manage all social media channels, and create comprehensive marketing materials for print, radio, TV, and digital media. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle outreach, coordinate with media outlets, and build relationships with local influencers to maximize the visibility and success of our shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design compelling marketing materials for various channels, including newspaper ads, radio scripts, TV segments, and social media content.
- Develop, schedule, and manage social media posts and campaigns across all relevant platforms to increase engagement and audience growth.
- Coordinate and send out press releases, media kits, and other communication to radio and TV stations.
- Follow up with media outlets to schedule media calls, interviews, and coverage opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with local social media influencers and community figures to promote word of mouth and engage the community.
- Work with the creative team to plan and execute photoshoots and promotional video content.
- Oversee the production of engaging content that aligns with the brand voice and showcases the unique elements of each performance.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and relevant.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role in the performing arts, event, or entertainment industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in creating marketing materials for print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience with scheduling and following up on media coverage, as well as coordinating media calls.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with social media influencers and building partnerships.
- Proficiency with social media management tools, scheduling software, and content creation platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics tools, and data-driven decision-making for campaign optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software.
- Photography and videography skills for capturing high-quality promotional content.
- A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community engagement.
